Earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 1966 as a member of Troop 147 in Cleveland, Ohio.  Returned to Scouting in 2003 as my son’s Tiger Den Leader.  Served as Cubmaster for Pack 3390 from  2006-2008.  Crossed over with my son to Troop 1 where I served as Committee Member and Quartermaster Advisor.  Accompanied Crew 2001 to Philmont as Venturing Advisor in 2010 and Northern Michigan in 2012.  Served as Old Portage Roundtable Advisor 2007-2018.   Acted as Quartermaster for National Youth Leadership Training classes of 2013, 2014 and 2015.  In 2019 joined as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 7390 and stepped into current role of Scoutmaster for Troop 390 in September 2021.
